Ensuring product quality begins with selecting the right plots for cultivation. These plots must have a good structure, be well-drained, and contain sufficient nutrients. Furthermore, no onions or related onion crops may have been cultivated in the previous five years.
The quality of the product is then determined by cultivation, storage and processing.
Since 2005, we have been thinking about how we can achieve a better and fairer onion trade between farmers and traders.
Growers often look for the best sales opportunity but often cannot find it because they are limited in the information they can find. They are usually asked to ask for money even though they are not well informed about the latest developments. They often do not get the highest possible price because the intermediary often gives their favorite customer the first option.
