quality

Quality is our top priority at Agro Centre Holland.

Ensuring product quality begins with selecting the right plots for cultivation. These plots must have a good structure, be well-drained, and contain sufficient nutrients. Furthermore, no onions or related onion crops may have been cultivated in the previous five years.

cultivation

The basis of our trade starts with good cultivation.

Accompaniment

Our cultivation is supervised by a professionally hired team. They keep a close eye on the onions as they grow.

Accompaniment

During the coaching process, a weekly report is made on the onion growth. This gives us a good idea of the expected harvest at the end of the season.

STORAGE

After cultivation, it is also very important that the onions are properly treated, dried and stored.

Crate storage and mechanical cooling

To keep the onions in optimal condition, they are stored in crates, dried and cooled before being removed later and prepared for processing.

processing

When the onions arrive from the fields, there is still a lot of processing to do.

Sorting

When developing our unique sorting/processing line, we took an apple as our starting point.

Our goal was to get the apple to the end of the sorting line and into the crate without any dents.

If it works for apples, it certainly works for onions.
